Leera M. Briceno, MD

Dr. Briceno, a founding partner of SSDP who retired in January of 2026, has been a board-certified dermatologist in Massachusetts for over 30 years. She attended the University of Massachusetts Medical School, followed by her internship and residency at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton, Massachusetts. Dr. Briceno completed her dermatology fellowship training at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. She has served on the staffs of some of Massachusetts’ most respected healthcare institutions, including South Shore Hospital, Brockton Hospital, Newton-Wellesley Hospital, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and was affiliated with Good Samaritan Medical Center.
Upon her retirement, she shared that, “These past decades have been deeply fulfilling, with the last seventeen years at South Shore Dermatology Physicians (SSDP) the most rewarding. It has been a privilege to care for you, earn your trust, and work alongside such dedicated colleagues.
