SSDP Welcomes Dr. Dhrumil Patel
We’re happy to welcome Dr. Dhrumil Patel to South Shore Dermatology Physicians! Dr. Patel is a board-certified dermatologist committed to providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatological care.
Dr. Patel grew up in Scituate and finished his undergraduate studies at Cornell University. He earned his medical degree at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, followed by his internship in Internal Medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Center. He completed his dermatology residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
During his dermatology residency, Dr. Patel served as Assistant Chief Resident for Research during his second year and then as Chief Resident during his last year. His commitment to clinical excellence is grounded in a strong academic foundation, and he regularly incorporates the latest research and evidence-based advancements into his practice.
Dr. Patel is committed to building long-term relationships with his patients. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Patel enjoys working with and teaching medical students and residents. He is also a regular participant at New England Dermatology Society meetings.
Dr. Patel shared, "I am very excited to join SSDP. I look forward to joining a collaborative dermatology group where clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care come together. I am grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our patients' lives and our community at large."

Outside the office, Dr. Patel enjoys hiking, volunteering, spending time with his family and friends, and values giving back to the community through mentorship and service.
