John Joseph Croke, MD

Dr. Croke focuses on general medical dermatology, with an emphasis on early detection of skin cancers. He has been a part of our local community for over 25 years and values the long-term relationships he has with his patients. He has practiced primarily in Brockton, first as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Boston University School of Medicine for over 15 years, while serving as Medical Director at their Brockton Satellite Clinic. He also was Chief of the Department of Dermatology at Brockton Hospital. Next, he practiced at Signature Healthcare Dermatology in Brockton for several years, before joining SSDP.

Dr. Croke attended Tufts University School of Medicine, where he received his MD, and Boston College for his undergraduate education. Prior to his dermatological training while in the military, Dr. Croke researched physiological human responses at the Natick Laboratory Army Research, Development, and Engineering Center (Natick Laboratory). During his dermatology training, he was Chief Resident at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam, in Houston, Texas. He was then stationed at Fort Benning, Columbus, Georgia, where he was Chief of the Dermatology Clinic at Martin Army Hospital.

In his free time, Dr. Croke enjoys gardening, fishing, reading, and biking.
