FAQs
How does ellacor® work?
1
ellacor® uses Micro-Coring® technology, creating hollow needles to remove micro-cores of skin, resulting in an improved appearance of wrinkles without evidence of scarring.
How is ellacor® different from other skin revitalization devices?
2
ellacor® improves the appearance of wrinkles by removing micro-portions of excess skin, unlike many skin rejuvenation treatments that rely on lasers, radiofrequency, or ultrasound energy to create controlled thermal injury
How many procedures will I need?
3
As every patient has different needs, please speak with your physician to determine the treatment plan that is right for you. In the clinical trial, most patients underwent a series of three procedures spaced approximately 30 days apart. ellacor® can provide lasting results once the desired outcome is achieved
Is the procedure painful?
4
Your physician will provide you with appropriate anesthesia prior to the procedure to make you more comfortable. Most patients in our clinical trial reported pain during the procedure as less than 2 on a 0-10 scale.
Is the recovery time long?
1
Recovery time ranges from a few days to weeks, which can vary by patient and treatment settings. Since every patient heals at different rates, patient results and experience may vary. Schedule a cosmetic consult with Dr. Christine Urman for more information.
Does Ellacor use synthetic fillers or foreign substances?
2
No. ellacor® does not use fillers, injections, or foreign substances. The treatment harnesses your body's natural healing response to improve wrinkles, offering a natural, non-injectable approach to skin rejuvenation.
